Itinerary:

Logging History of the West Branch

Paddle along the calm waters where large numbers of log rafts used to float downriver to their final destination at Port Deposit, Maryland.

There are some rapids around mile 96 and Paddy's Island, but the overall route is calm. Enjoy the views of wildlife on both banks of the river, and do not forget to bring along your binoculars!
